CalMac has warned Ullapool to Stornoway passengers of an issue resulting in reduced capacity on the ferry.

Just before 6am this morning (April 15), CalMac warned that “until further notice”, there will be reduced capacity on the MV Loch Seaforth ferry, due to an issue with the vessel’s port mezzanine deck.

The ferry service operators also said that all impacted traffic have been contacted about the issue.

CalMac also explained to a passenger over social media, that if the repairs are made or more space becomes available, passengers will be able to amend bookings to a more suitable time by calling the CalMac customer contact centre on 0800 066 5000, who “would be happy to make any changes for you”.
