The 5.30pm sailing from Ullapool to Stornoway is the latest of several sailings of the Stornoway-Ullapool ferry to be cancelled today (Thursday), CalMac has confirmed.

The ferry operator confirmed the following sailings had now been cancelled due to Covid protocol.

Departing Stornoway - 7am and 2pm

Departing Ullapool - 10:30am and 5:30pm

A statement on the Cal Mac website said: "We would advise passengers, where possible, to travel on the 19:10 sailing from Uig. An update regarding sailings on Friday 25th February will be provided later this afternoon.

"We recognise that cancelling a service can be very challenging for our customers and the communities we serve and apologise for the disruption this will cause. "
