CalMac announces multiple ferry cancellations between Ullapool and Stornoway

CalMac has announced that multiple ferry services between Ullapool and Stornoway have been cancelled January 26 and 27.

The ferry company issued an amber warning for multiple scheduled services, due to the forecasted adverse weather.

The cancelled services are:

  • Stornoway – Ullapool 2pm sailing, January 26.
  • Ullapool – Stornoway 5.30pm sailing, January 26.
  • Stornoway – Ullapool 10.10pm freight sailing, January 26.
  • Ullapool – Stornoway 2.50am freight sailing, January 27.
  • Stornoway – Ullapool 7.00am sailing, January 27.
  • Ullapool – Stornoway 10.30am sailing, January 27.
  • Stornoway – Ullapool 2.30pm sailing, January 27.
  • Ullapool – Stornoway 6.30pm sailing, January 27.

Citylink offer the 961 bus service between Ullapool and Inverness scheduled to co-ordinate with the CalMac ferry services.

However Citylink have confirmed that their 961 bus services will continue today despite the ferry cancellations.
