The panto is over – oh, yes it is!

Spring is still some a wee way off.

What is there to do in February? What good is sitting alone in your room when you can come hear the music play?

Welcome to the Wild Cat Cabaret Club, enjoy a drink and be entertained by singers from Dingwall Players and live music from The Sitting Pretty Band in the company of an MC who is proud to present an evening evoking the 1930s Berlin cabaret scene, including music and songs by Kurt Weill, Jacques Brel, John Kander and others.

A cabaret evening is a new venture for Dingwall Players and they will be adding their own twist to proceedings. Imagine a society and regime where the liberal days of the '30s – when you could be whatever you wanted – have long passed.

Cabaret is banned, but there are those who continue to rehearse in secret locations, ready for the time when they can come into the light and play to an audience once more.

The peformance at the National Hotel in Dingwall – scheduled for February 24 – has already sold out.
