EASTER Ross based construction, quarry and haulage business Pat Munro (Alness) has "reaffirmed its commitment" to the area with the opening of new premises in Alness.

The addition of Averon House, in Teaninich Industrial Estate, will see Pat Munro Homes and subsidiary company Carbon Dynamic Scotland make the transition from their present location within Pat Munro’s head office at Caplich Quarry in the Easter Ross town.

The new property will also still have some spare capacity to accommodate other members of the team if required in future.

Managing director Brian Munro commented: “We are excited about the opening of our new office in Alness, creating more space for our growing team and reaffirming our commitment to the Easter Ross area where we were founded 75 years ago.

"This builds upon our strategic plans for continued growth and development across the Highlands through an investment in local operations, with local people and a local presence.”
