Repairs were under way after a burst main cut water supplies to homes in the Plockton area on Monday.

Scottish Water's engineers attended the scene at around 9.35am and were still working on the repair at the time of the company's last update at 2.45pn.

Speaking at the time, a spokesperson said: "We are currently repairing a burst water pipe which is causing the interruption to the water supply for customers in Plockton.

"We expect to complete the repair in a timeframe which means we do not plan to provide bottled water.

"The water supply will gradually return to normal for customers once the repair has been completed.
