A BURST main has caused water supply issues for residents in and around Fortrose this morning.

Scottish Water said that some customers in the IV10 postcode reported supply interruptions around 8.50am.

Engineers are currently investigating the problem and plan to update customers about the issue around 10.30am.

A spokesman said: "We are currently on the way to investigate the issue and are aiming to be on site as soon as possible.

"While we investigate, please be aware that you may experience no water supply or low/intermittent water pressure. You may also experience discoloured water."
