Break-in at popular Ross-shire inn sparks police appeal

Police have appealed for information after a popular Easter Ross inn and restaurant was broken-into at the weekend.

Officer have urged anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious, or may know something, to get in touch following the break-in at the Shandwick Inn near Kildary sometime overnight from Sunday into Monday.

A police spokesperson said: "Alness detectives are investigating a break-in that occurred at the Shandwick Inn, Kildary between 10pm on Sunday, February 18 and 10am on Monday, February 19.

"Please get in touch with us via 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with any information regarding this incident."
