Sea Savers awarded £1500 for accessible boat trips in Tesco Ullapool blue token scheme

Ullapool Sea Savers have been awarded £1500 from the Tesco blue token scheme, to fund accessible boat trips this summer.

The young activism and enviromental group, the Ullapool Sea Savers, campaign to protect the marine enviroment and wildlife in the north–west Highlands.

On Facebook, Ullapool Sea Savers said: "We would like to send a massive *thank you!* to everyone who voted for Ullapool Sea Savers in the recent Tesco Ullapool blue token vote. We are delighted to announce that with your support we secured £1500 toward the cost of running accessible boat trips this year!

"This is fantastic news and we cannot wait to get started – taking people out on the loch and sharing how much there is to love about the sea. It is was a really great boost for the kids to see just how supported they are by this amazing village. We really are very, very grateful."
