If you arrived at Belladrum last night, you may have been one of the people that experienced hours of delays in queues of traffic (I personally spent six hours getting from Inverness into the festival).

However, today I have woken up to sunshine and a cup of coffee after a few hours of sleep in the first night of the tent.

There still seems to be an air of frustration and confusion around the festival over the traffic that caused both festival goers and locals much distress.

But I found dancing to The Zutons rifty set, and Gimme Abba helped to shake off a lot of the angst that had built up in the car.

Now what can you expect at Belladrum today?

You can stretch your legs with some Pilates at 12.30pm at the Bird of Paradise Dome, or experience some Laughter Yoga in the same spot at 1.30pm.

Music kicks off at 12.15pm on The Hot House Stage with Into the Pines providing some feel good music. Over at the Garden Stage you can Belladrum regulars, The Dangleberries at 5pm.

Big names tonight include KT Tunstall at 8.10pm on the Hot House Stage followed by Bastille, and Martin Kemp providing an 80's DJ set.

The Garden Stage has Fatherson on at 8.45pm followed by Alabama 3.

These are just a few of the treats that will be on at Belladrum today, but there is entertainment on at every angle, with something from the festival's youngest to oldest.

There are also plenty of food stalls, shopping, crafts and activities such as skateboarding to keep you occupied if you get a bit tired of dancing the day away!

Now let's hope the sunshine stays out and the traffic is smooth for those attempting to get to the festival with weekend tickets!
