THE tickets for Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival have sold out for the third year running, the organisers have announced.

They are now appealing to anyone with spare tickets to get in touch and offer them back through the festival to people who have been caught out by the speed with which the event sold out this year.

“Having sold out two weeks before the show last year, we are delighted to be sold out nearly two months in advance in 2011,” said festival promoter Joe Gibbs.

“We have been warning our regular audience for several months that this might happen but we are still concerned that some may have missed out; hence we are appealing to people who have spare tickets to offer them via the festival at their cover price plus any booking fee to people who are looking for them. We will not be charging anything for this service.

"In the case of people who have bought e-tickets and no longer require them, these can be refunded and re-offered via www.skiddle.com which will make a small transaction charge to the buyer.”

Scots rock legends Texas and Deacon Blue are to headline the eighth staging of the festival.
