AN Easter Ross community is seeking the views of locals over the siting of a recycling bottle bank.

The bottle bank sited at Balintore Harbour could be moved, says the local community council, because the recycling lorries sometimes have trouble accessing it if it is busy and it is also noisy for residents nearby.

Balintore Hilton Community Council has opened an online survey to gauge opinion.

It says: "There is potential to move the bottle bank to an area on the left of the entrance into the top football pitch. This would be away from the football pitch, changing rooms and parking areas and would be more accessible to lorries and less disruptive to residents.

"Your views are important and we would like to know what you think about re-siting of the bottle bank.

"Please below to choose your preferred option for the siting of the bottle bank and/ or leave a comment."

The survey can be found via the community council's Facebook page.
