FIVE baby rabbits who were rescued by Inverness SPCA are being cared for in Fishcross.

The baby bunnies, whose home was destroyed in a flood, are doing well and will be released as soon as they are ready back out into the wild.

On the SPCA's twitter feed, a spokeswoman said: "Look at this bunch of beautiful baby buns!

"These rabbits were found when their burrow was flooded.

"They were cared for by the team at our Inverness centre then taken to our National Wildlife Hospital at Fishcross, where they will stay until they're ready to be released."

She continued: "As Scotland's emergency service for animals, we're responding to more than 140 reports of animals in need every single day throughout the coronavirus pandemic. "
