Police Scotland officers in Highland appeal for information after attempted house-breaking in Dingwall, Ross-shire

POLICE have appealed for information following an attempt to break into a house in a Ross-shire town.

The offence occurred in Logan Drive, Dingwall sometime between the evening of Friday, July 17 and the morning of Saturday, July 18.

Officers said it appeared that someone had tried to break in through a conservatory door but had failed to gain entry.

Constable Scott Cameron said: "We are appealing to the public to contact us if they saw anything in the area at the times mentioned”.
