Assynt Mountain Rescue Team go to aid of injured walker on Cul Beag in Coigach
Assynt Mountain Rescue Team were called out to help a lost and injured walker on 769m-high Cul Beag, a mountain in Coigach about 15km north of Ullapool.
Team leader Tim Hamlet said: "Three team members were deployed and quickly located the walker who had slipped and injured her wrist. She was safely escorted off the mountain and taken back to her accommodation in Ullapool."

On Monday, March 18, the team spent a day training with members of the Police Scotland Highland and Islands Mountain Rescue Team.
The day began with presentations on the systems and technology used to manage mountain rescue incidents.
This was followed by a simulated exercise where the two teams joined forces to respond to a call to go to the rescue of three lost and injured walkers on the 808m-high Quinag.
