The Marty Mackay Memorial Sponsored Cycle and Walk is being held on April 2.

It will be the 10th anniversary of the cycle and walk, which, to date, has raised over £160,000 for cancer charities and other good causes in the north Highlands.

The cycle, which has not been held for two years because of the pandemic, will start as usual from Lairg, and the walk from Rhiconich, with both finishing at Durness Village Hall.

Refreshments will be on offer along both routes with a catering van at the hall, and teas, coffees, and home baking, provided in the hall.

A grand auction, will take place at 5pm, followed by a raffle, and the licensed event will finish by 9pm.
