ROSS-SHIRE audiences will be invited to take a step out of the ordinary and into the unexpected, fantastical, and fearless world of Alice as a multi-sensory virtual reality experience hits several small venues.

Jasmin Vardimon: Alice in VR Wonderland is a unique dance theatre virtual reality experience based on an imaginative adaptation of the timeless story Alice in Wonderland.

The show is being brought to Applecross, Cromarty and Ardross next month as part of an new micronetwork initiative which is helping bring a variety of shows to smaller venues.

The idea is that audience members will "feel up close with the performers in a magical adventure and be completely immersed in a VR Wonderland".

There are separate workshops available with some of the performances.
