First Christmas for wee bundles of joy in the Highlands

THE much-awaited time finally arrived, the houses all decorated, the best festive outfits on and for some a special meeting with the big man Santa.

Despite it being somewhat of an odd Christmas for the second year in a row, the wee ones of Inverness and surrounding areas still had the chance to enjoy the magic of their very first Christmas with their loved ones. Having a new bundle of joy in the house surely makes this period even more special.

Many thanks to all the readers who sent us their baby’s first Christmas pictures over the past few days, the happiness in their faces is surely a heart-warming sight for many.
