The musical evening at the Legion Club was compered by Ian Simpson who welcomed a large audience for the first meeting of the season.

It is encouraging to see young talent playing at a high standard and keeping our music very much alive. On keyboard providing first class accompaniment was Richard Smith. He, along with Callum Reid on drums completed what was first class musical entertainment and greatly appreciated by the enthusiastic audience.

Local performers playing accordions were Monica MacLean, Graham Wood, Nicol MacKay, Colin Donaldson and Graham Wilson. Fraser Donaldson and Allen Shepherd provided piano accompaniment and on drums were Maggie Jamieson and Heather Donaldson.
