A9 southbound slip road and Inshes overbridge in Inverness are 'clear' following 'police incident'

Motorists were blocked by police from crossing the Inshes overbridge and entering the A9 via the southbound slip road from the Raigmore Interchange earlier this morning.

Police later said there had been concern for woman in the area but she was taken to hospital and the roads are all open now.

Ambulance and fire units were also at the scene.
