The A9 junction north of Aviemore is closed because of a three vehicle accident a short time ago.

Emergency services are in attendance following the crash at the Granish junction.

The accident occurred earlier this lunchtime and traffic is restricted in both directions on the A95-A9 link.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police were called at around 12.25pm to a report of a road crash involving three vehicles on the A9 southbound at the Aviemore junction.

"Officers are at the scene."
