A9 closed between Golspie and Brora due to road traffic incident

UPDATE: One person taken to hospital after crash between car and motorbike

The A9 between Golspie and Brora is closed in both directions due to a road traffic incident.

Traffic Scotland have advised motorists to use alternative route and allow extra time for their journey.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were made aware of a crash involving two vehicles on the A9 near Dinrobin Castle, close to Golspie around 10am on Saturday, 30 September.

"The road is currently closed and emergency services are at the scene."
