A9 closed at Aviemore after road accident by Granish junction

Both carriageways of the A9 are closed north of Aviemore after a crash at the Granish junction.

The accident occurred at around 9.26pm.

Emergency services are at the scene.

Traffic Scotland reported: "Due to a road traffic incident the A9 is closed in both directions at Granish.

Road users are advised to approach with caution, expect delays and use an alternative route."
