A835 from Tarvie to Garve closed due to traffic accident involving lorry

Traffic Scotland have advised that the A835 between Tarvie and Garve has been closed to traffic due to an accident involving a lorry earlier today.

Police Scotland said that a lorry was involved in a crash sometime before 2.10pm, with no reported injuries.

The traffic service say the road has been closed in both eastbound and westbound directions to allow for recovery following an earlier collision.

A spokesperson for Traffic Scotland said: "The A835 between Tarvie and Garve is currently closed in both directions due to a road traffic incident. Road users are advised to follow the local signed diversion route and to expect longer than normal travel times."

A statement from Police Scotland read: "

"We were made aware of a crash involving a lorry on the A835 near Loch Garve around 2.10pm on Friday, October 20.

"There are no reported injuries and the road has been closed to allow for recovery."
