TIRED toys which had seen better days have been replaced at a small Black Isle playgroup thanks to the generosity of a local group.

Regulars at Cromarty Playgroup realised after paying this year's fees that some of the toys desperately needed replaced.

The group wrote itself a wish list and posted it on its Facebook page.

Within a week, Wendy Mullery of local Black Isle band Clinging to the Wreckage had got in touch to say the group would buy the required toys.

Cromarty Playgroup's Denise Macfarlane said: "We are really very grateful to them for this."

The playgroup meets in Cromarty West Church Hall.

It's next planned fundraiser is a quiz planned for the Cromarty Arms on Saturday, April 27.
