Sponsors and entrants are being sought for a fundraising golf day to mark a Highland RNLI base’s 50th anniversary.

Invergordon RNLI has announced plans for its 50th Anniversary Golf Day on June 15 at Invergordon Golf Club.

"Get ready to tee off at our 50th Anniversary Texas Scramble!” said a spokesperson. "Join us for a day of fun and friendly competition on the greens as we raise funds for Invergordon RNLI.”

The competition is for teams of four (male/female) golfers. The format will be a 'Texas Scramble' competition over 18 holes. Cost per team of four is £80 and includes a bacon roll and hot drink on arrival, and a goodie bag.”

They continued: “With barbecues at the first and half-way house, and ‘longest drive’ and ‘closest to the pin’ competitions also, don’t delay and pop an email to mike_macdonald@rnli.org.uk for an application form.

“We are also looking for business sponsors for our 50th Anniversary Golf Day for holes, barbecues, buggies and prizes and on-the-day competitions.

“If you wish to help sponsor and have your business promoted across our social media and throughout the day, get in touch on the above email to find out more!
