There were emotional scenes at a candlelit vigil in the Highland capital on the anniversary of the outbreak on conflict in Ukraine.

People gathered at Inverness's Queen's Park Stadium last night to indicate their feelings about Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Highlands for Ukraine organised the special event, where Ukrainian refugees currently taking refuge in the Highlands attended alongside others who wanted to be part of the poignant occasion.
