THREE fire engines have been scrambled to a blaze on an Easter Ross industrial estate.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said it was called to a blaze at a building at Fearn's industrial estate at 12.17pm.

Two fire engines from Invergordon and one from Dornoch were scrambled to the scene.

At the time of writing, it confirmed that the three crews were still on scene tackling the fire.

SFRS was initially unable to say which building was on fire, although it is understood it was the Fearndrome Garage.

Eyewitnesses claim to have heard a "big explosion" and that colleagues "felt the shudder from the explosion".
