Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) probing power failure affecting homes in Easter Ross village of Evanton

Homes in an Easter Ross village have been hit by a power failure.

Energy firm SSEN estimates that 12 properties in Evanton have been affected, with engineers en-route to investigate the issue.

SSEN says the fault was reported at 6.11pm and is estimating that restoration of electricity to the homes will be completed by 9.30 pm.

Streets affected include Drummond View, Teandallon Place, Thomas Maciver Street and Mackenzie Court.
