WHITELAW - (Jamestown). John, died peacefully at home, aged 88 years, on 26th February, 2024. Beloved husband of Lesley, he will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He loved the hills, lochs and rivers of the Highlands and also his travels in distant lands. Major (Retired) late Seaforth Highlanders, Queen's Own Highlanders and Trucial Oman Scouts.
