ROSS - (Arrochar, formerly Delny/Alness). Suddenly but peacefully, in hospital, after a short illness, Arthur Campbell Innes, on Tuesday, 28th March, in his 96th year. A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Born 14th November, 1927, Munlochy, before moving closer to family at Delny Farm, then to Thistle Cottage, Alness, where he went to primary school. Although leaving Alness aged 11 (due to his father's work commitments), he and brother Bill (97) often talked of times past, remembering visits to Granny Ross, Newmore and Granny Innes, Fairview, Barbaraville, where they talked of having amarvellous childhood along with many cousins and pals. He will be greatly missed by his large and extended family but fondly remembered by all. Funeral and comittal took place at Arrochar on 14th April.
