MCMILLAN - (Tain). Elizabeth Shanks McMillan, formerly of Hartfield Street, Tain and Tain Post Office, died peacefully, on Sunday, 4th June, 2023, aged 101 years, in Kingsmills Care Home, Inverness. Devoted sister to the late Jim, sister-in-law to the late Rhoda and cousin to the late Joyce. Much loved auntie to Stuart and Jacqueline, great-auntie to Robyn, godmother to Anne and godgranny to Emma. Will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. Following a private family cremation held on Monday, 26th June, 2023, a service of thanksgiving will be held in Tain Parish Church, on Friday, 21st July, 2023, at 1pm; and thereafter interment of ashes in St. Duthus New Cemetery, Tain, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. The family request that, in recognition of Auntie Elizabeth's love of her garden, you wear something floral or colourful.
