GOUGH - (Strathpeffer). Shane Hugh Maryon, 5th Viscount, following a short illness bravely borne, died peacefully, at Highland Hospice, on 14th April, 2023, aged 81. He lived a full life, pursuing numerous interests including service in the Irish Guards, stockbroking, art appreciation and nature conservation. Friend of many in Strathpeffer and London and elsewhere, and generous supporter of numerous projects into which he threw his energies. Funeral service on Wednesday, 3rd May at 12 noon in St Anne's Episcopal Church, Strathpeffer. All welcome to attend. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, for Highland Hospice may be given at the service. Memorial service to follow in London.
