FISHER - (Alness). After an illness bravely fought, in the Golden Jubilee Hospital and finally at Raigmore Hospital, on Thursday, 19th November, 2020, Tony Fisher, aged 73 years, of 2 Ballachraggan Farm Cottages, Alness. Beloved partner of Reay, much loved father of Robert, a loving father-in-law to Liz and a much loved brother of Florence and the late Michael and many more who he will be greatly missed by. Thanks goes out to Mr Bilancia and all the staff at Ward 3 West, Golden Jubilee Hospital and Dr Paterson and all the staff at Ward 7A, Raigmore Hospital, for the care, compassion and kindness that Tony and his family were extended during his stays in hospital, and the Scottish Ambulance Service. Due to current restrictions, a private family service will be held at Inverness Crematorium, on Wednesday, 2nd December, at 12pm. Family flowers only but a donation, if desired, can be made online in aid of Cancer Research at www.cancerresearchuk.org/donate-now. Funeral cortège will leave Mairi Russell Funeral Services at 10.50am, along the back road turning onto the High Street at the Station Hotel, passing along Alness High Street, for those wishing to pay their last respects to Tony.
