BRIGGS - (Strathpeffer). Douglas passed away peacefully, following a long illness, at Redwoods Nursing Home, Alness on Wednesday, 10th January, 2024, aged 80 years. Beloved husband of Christine, much loved dad of Jane, Ian and Katie, cherished grandpa of Nina and Freya and a dear brother of David. Douglas was formerly a Local Authority Water Engineer and then a Councillor in Ross-shire and Highland. A celebration of Douglas' life will be held at Inverness Crematorium on Monday, 22nd January, 2024, commencing at 2pm, all friends respectfully invited.
