MACRITCHIE - Alison and family would like to thank all those who extended their sympathy in many ways following the sad loss of Mairi. Many thanks to all who attended the service and graveside, especially those who travelled some distance. Grateful thanks to Rev. Angus MacRae for his touching eulogy and mindful service. Thanks to Garry Clark and all staff at D. Gunn Funeral Directors for their kind and efficient assistance. Huge huge thanks to all the nurses and staff at Seaforth House who cared for Mairi over the many years she was a resident, particularly for the love and kindness shown to Mairi and myself over the past few difficult years. Respect to D. Gunn's personnel for wearing pink ties and to Rev. MacRae for foregoing black on this occasion. Mairi was laid to rest in a sparkly pink coffin wearing her favourite colour, pink.
