The announcement comes as the Stags received a boost that McDonald Scaffolding have renewed their deal as the club’s main sponsor and have also agreed to help with the development of the clubhouse.

As part of the sponsorship deal, the company will provide scaffolding for free during the construction of the development.

Scott says it is hoped work on the project can start by the end of next week.

“We have to carry on raising funds, but we are confident within the next 10 days we can start work,” he said.
