Work on new Ross Sutherland clubhouse could start in June

Ross Sutherland Rugby Club are hopeful work on its new clubhouse can start by June.

The Stags are looking to award the contract for the new facility at the Naval Grounds in Invergordon within the next few weeks.

It is aiming to have the clubhouse completed in time for their memorial match which takes place between Christmas and New Year.

In the meantime club officials are looking at alternative facilities while construction takes place.

Club officials have held talks with Invergordon Social and Recreational Club regarding parking and use of the facilities to cater for matches during the 2019/20 season.

They are also looking to work with High Life Highland for use of the changing facilities at the Inverness Leisure Centre.
