TAIN Amateur Swimming Club swimmers Andrew Gatton (11) from Alness and Douglas Ross (13) from Portmahomack had a fantastic weekend at the Buckie meet.

Andrew took silver in the 100m freestyle and bronze in the 200m individual medley with new personal bests while Douglas was also on top form, taking gold in the 100m freestyle. He struck gold again in the boys’ 200m breast.

The lads were back in the water on Sunday, with Andrew notching 5th in the younger boys’ 200m breaststroke. Douglas took his third gold of the weekend in the older boys’ 200m freestyle. He now holds all the Tain club records for 13-year-old boys.
