Strathpeffer cyclist wins gold medal at Paralympic Games for first time as he claims victory in Paris

FIN Graham won gold at the Paralympic Games for the first time in his career as he claimed victory in the C1-C3 Road Race on Saturday morning.

The 24-year-old from Strathpeffer came out on top in a sprint finish for the line as he edged out Thomas Peyroton-Dartet from France to cross the line in a time of 1:34:19.

He beat the French cyclist by 0.20 seconds to win the first Paralympic title of his career.

Eight days ago, Graham claimed a silver medal in the C3 3000 Metres individual pursuit.

On Wednesday, he finished in sixth place in the C3 Time Trial.
