Fin Graham missed out on a medal at the Men’s C3 Time Trial at the Paralympic Games as he finished in sixth place.

The 24-year-old from Strathpeffer was competing in his second of three events at the Paralympic Games in Paris on Wednesday.

Graham completed the course in a time of 39:39.46 to take sixth place.

The race was won by Thomas Peyroton-Darter of France in 38:28.80. Eduardo Asensio Santas of Spain was in second place in 39:12.71 and Matthias Schindler of Germany third in 39:21.35.

Graham has one event remaining when he takes part in the Men’s C3 Road Race on Saturday at 8.30am.

Last Friday, Graham claimed a silver medal when he competed at the C3 Individual Pursuit in Paris.

In a repeat of the Paralympic final three years ago in Tokyo, Graham finished the final in a time of three minutes 22.540 seconds. Defending champion Jaco Van Gass from Great Britain successfully retained his gold medal in the event, winning in a time of 3:18.460.

In the heats of the individual pursuit, Graham set a new world record of three minutes and 17.14 seconds during his heat earlier this afternoon.

But he only held the world record for a matter of minutes as Jaco Van Gass of Great Britain regained his world record in the following heat in a time of 3:15.488.
