The Invergordon duo have dominated their qualifying group to reach the final which takes place on Saturday and Sunday in Sacramento, United States.

All they have to do is take part in the final round of qualifying with the wrecking ball hold today, where even if they finish last will still ensure they top their groups.

Tom (27) has won all four events in his qualifying group, winning the car walk in 14.65 seconds and log lift with eight reps yesterday.

With a maximum 24 points from four events in Group One, he is six points in front of Kevin Faires of USA in second place and only needs to avoid injury in the wrecking ball hold today to ensure he is in this weekend's final.

Luke (37) is seven points in front in Group Five after winning three out of four events.

He came second in the car walk in 16.65 seconds and first in the log lift with 10 reps.

All he needs to do is avoid injury in the wrecking ball hold to ensure he is in this weekend's final.

With 23 points, he is seven points ahead of Eythor Ingolfsson Melsted of Iceland in second place.
