Jamie Lindsay insists Ross County have no reason to fear the step up to the Scottish Premiership next season.
The Staggies lifted the Championship title, finishing six points ahead of nearest challengers Dundee United, to earn a spot in the top flight.
It will be a more difficult campaign next time around when County have to face the likes of Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen, but Lindsay is relaxed about the step up in quality.
“I don’t think anybody at the club should fear going into the Premiership, Ross County is a club that should be there,” he said.
“We need to just work hard and hopefully play the way we were playing, because you never know what can happen.
“Last season we played against Motherwell and won and we did well against Hibernian at Easter Road.
“The standard is obviously better, but we’re a better team now than we were when we were in the Premiership the last time.”
