Ross Sutherland thrashed in last Caledonia North Two game of the season

Ross Sutherland lost 62-0 to close out their Caledonia North Two season.

The Stags hosted Highland 2nds in Invergordon looking to end the campaign on a high, but their youthful side could not match the runaway champions.

However, head coach John Mann says the balance of play was actually closer than the score suggests.

“The game was actually more even than I thought it was going to be,” Mann explained.

“That sounds stupid when they put 62 points on us. But the biggest difference – and straight away I went and gave their coach credit for it – was that they made their tackles and we missed ours."
