Mann not looking too far ahead in battle to avoid relegation with Ross Sutherland

Ross Sutherland head coach John Mann remains positive his team can escape relegation from Caledonia North Two despite losing the bottom of the table clash at Moray 17-14.

The Stags had Brian Davies and Ross Macleod both sent off in the battle of Elgin as they are now 11 points adrift at the bottom of the table.

But with seven games left of the league season, Mann is confident that his team can turn things around and avoid the drop starting with victory against Aberdeen Grammar 2nd’s at Invergordon on Saturday.

“We have just finished the first half of the season,” he said.

“There are still seven games to play before the end of the season.

“Everything is about focusing on the next game now. You can’t look at potentials of what could happen.

“There are 35 points available that we can still get.”
