Ross County announce that former West Bromwich Albion and Oxford City full back George Harmon has signed a new contract to stay in Dingwall

Ross County have tied down one of their out of contract stars to a new deal.

George Harmon was one of four players whose futures were still up in the air, alongside Josh Sims, Michee Efete and Ross Callachan.

The English left back, though, has put pen-to-paper on a new two-year contract to remain in Dingwall.

So far in his Staggies career, Harmon has made 74 appearances and scored four goals – none more memorable than the equalising goal against Partick Thistle in last summer’s play-off final.

County manager Don Cowie commented: “We are delighted to have George extend his stay at the club.

“He has been an important player for us over his time at the club so far and we look forward to having him at the club for a further two years.”
