Ross County have been drawn away to Livingston in the fourth round of this season's Scottish Cup.

Both sides enter the competition at this stage, with matches due to be played after the winter break on the weekend of January 22/23, 2022.

The Staggies and Livi will each have hoped for better performances in the league at the start of the season, with County sitting at the bottom of the table and Livi three points ahead in 10th.

That could well change by the time the teams meet in January, though, with a packed fixture list still to come in December including a league trip to the Tony Macaroni Arena for Malky Mackay's men on December 18.

It is the first time ever the clubs have been paired up in the Scottish Cup, although they have met on three occasions in other knockout competitions.

Back in August 2000, Livingston won 3–0 in the Challenge Cup, but a full 10 years later the Staggies ran out 2–1 winners in the League Cup.

More recently, it was the Lions who brought County crashing back to earth in last season's League Cup after Stuart Kettlewell's side scored a famous win at Celtic Park in the previous round.
