Ross County appoint St Mirren legend Campbell Money as Dingwall club’s new football development director
Ross County have announced the appointment of former St Mirren goalkeeper Campbell Money as the club’s new football development director.
A one-club man as a player, since hanging up the boots Money has managed Stranraer, Ayr United – where he coached current Staggies chief executive Steven Ferguson – Stenhousemuir and Cumnock Juniors.
In recent years, he has served as the Scottish FA’s club academy manager.
At County, Money will be responsible for the club’s academy, transition group and women’s first team.
Ferguson commented: “We are delighted to have Campbell on board. He brings a wealth of experience to the club with his past roles in playing, coaching, managing and most recently in the development side of the game.
“He will work closely with our already established academy and women’s departments as we look to expand and grow both of these.”
