Glen Fell opened the scoring after five minutes but an unfortunate own goal from Chris Mailley six minutes later drew the islanders level.

Finn As-Chainey restored Saints' lead three minutes later but Liam Delday levelled the game on the half hour.

Fell's second goal put St Duthus 3-2 up at half time but Owen Young drew Orkney level again midway through the second half.

Cammy Mackintosh and Delday's second goal made it 4-4 but St Duthus looked to have won the match three minutes from time through Jake Lockett.

But Young left the Tain club shattered when his second goal two minutes into injury time saw Orkney sail back across the Pentland Firth with a point.
