Season tickets should not be on sale says Ross County chairman

ROSS County chairman Roy MacGregor has taken a swipe at other football clubs who are selling season tickets, not knowing what the future of the game holds.

The Staggies chief says his club is not selling season tickets yet because it is not yet known what impact the coronavirus pandemic will have on Scottish football next season.

Some clubs in the Premiership have already starting selling tickets, to try and recoup losses made on gate receipts for the past six weeks.

But MacGregor says no season tickets will be sold at Ross County until he knows what impact social distancing will have when the 2020/21 campaign starts, and is instead encouraging fans to sign up to the Staggies Army loyalty scheme.
